Our Story 

Getting to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort

Fly into the Jackson Hole Airport (JAC), which is located at the base of the spectacular Teton Range. Jackson Hole Airport (JAC) is the only commercial airport in the United States located within a National Park (i.e., Grand Teton).&nbsp;Upon arrival at the airport, you are an easy 36-minute drive to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort by car, taxi or rental car.&nbsp;Once you are rooted in the valley, a public bus system (START) allows for efficient and affordable travel to and from the town of Jackson and Teton Village. Rental car agencies are plentiful, as are taxi services. If you're looking to get around without renting a car, Jackson Hole offers the START Bus. Southern Teton Area Rapid Transit (START Bus or START) is the public transportation system that serves the residents and visitors of Teton County, Wyoming. START Bus runs routes within the town of Jackson, between Jackson and Teton Village as well as commuter routes from Star Valley, WY and Teton County, ID.START runs frequently in both the summer and winter months, providing transportation between Jackson and Teton Village and Jackson and Teton County, Idaho. As an added bonus, START's new hybrid buses, the first in the state of Wyoming, reduce fuel consumption by approximately 35%. Lower Faces Loop; Choose this multiuse loop for a quick and easy hike at lower elevation. It is also great for trail running. Green River Overlook; This hike is a side hike off the Rock Springs Loop Trail. It can be added to part of the loop, or used as a hike on its own, as an out and back style hike. This trail takes you to a rock ledge where you can view the valley below. Cody Bowl; Descend 800 vertical feet into a boulder-filled bowl at the bottom of Cody Peak. Cody Bowl is the last place snow persists in the summer. North Ridge Trail, Connecting the Cirque Trail and the summit of Rendezvous Mountain, the North Ridge Trail offers dramatic views into Granite Canyon and Grand Teton National Park. Look for fossils and flowers along the trail. It is steep with exposure and is not recommended for beginners.

The valley of Jackson Hole has over 56 miles of paved pathways that link the town of Jackson to Teton Village and Grand Teton National Park, and over 115 miles of mountain bike trails. Whatever style of riding – it is available – and often on un-crowded trails with breathtakingly scenic views. From flat, paved pathways to steep single track, the valley has an astonishing variety in the trail system. This one is for all those wine lovers out there – Bin 22 is a small wine shop and liquor store with a full restaurant located in the back.
